Q-Switch Laser

TREATMENT

About Q-Switch Facial

Q-Switch Lasers are used to treat pigmentation, melasma and sun damage on the face. This versatile laser can also be utilised with different settings for tattoo removal and China Doll Facials.

When the Q-Switch laser is used to treat your pigmented lesions including age spots, freckles, sunspots and some birthmarks, it targets the melanin in the superficial layer of your skin. When the pigmented lesion absorbs the light energy from the Q-Switch Laser it gets converted into heat. This process destroys the target without harming the surrounding skin.

How does China Doll Facial work?

The Q-Switch Laser emits short pulses of laser energy into the pigmented lesions to progressively shatter the pigment in the treatment area. Q-Switch works differently to other lasers where hyperpigmentation is suppressed and pushed deeper into the skin, where it fades away at the surface level. About China Doll Facial

The Carbon Laser Peel, also known as the ‘China Doll Facial’ (named for its porcelain doll like finish to the skin), is an innovative laser resurfacing treatment that utilises the power of laser energy and the gentleness of carbon to treat skin imperfections on the face. The Carbon Laser Peel works to restore the skin’s sebum balance whilst promoting a fresh and even facial glow. As the treated skin regenerates, the appearance of uneven colour and texture becomes visibly clearer and more uniform in texture.

How does China Doll Facial work?

The China Doll treatment works by applying a thin layer of carbon to the skin’s surface. Once the facial carbon mask is evenly distributed, a Q-Switched Laser is directed to the area. The carbon particles absorb toxins and excess oils on the skin and the laser energy is attracted to the black colour of the carbon. The Laser energy explodes the carbon. These exploding carbon particles remove the dead skin build up in the pores and the inner walls of the pores. The simultaneous generation of thermal energy stimulates the synthesis of new collagen and the promotion of a healthy-looking complexion for the face. Skin structure is visibly strengthened and enlarged pores purified and cleared.

Benefits

  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Tightens dilated pores.
  • Reduces acne, scars and post acne discoloration.
  • Removes dead skin cells from the superficial epidermal layer.
  • Stimulates collagen growth.
  • Improves skin texture.
  • Clears pores to help reduce blackheads and whiteheads.
