BBL Hero™

TREATMENT

About BBL Hero™

Q-Switch Lasers are used to treat pigmentation, melasma and sun damage on the face. This versatile laser can also be utilised with different settings for tattoo removal and China Doll Facials.

When the Q-Switch laser is used to treat your pigmented lesions including age spots, freckles, sunspots and some birthmarks, it targets the melanin in the superficial layer of your skin. When the pigmented lesion absorbs the light energy from the Q-Switch Laser it gets converted into heat. This process destroys the target without harming the surrounding skin.

How does China Doll Facial work?

The Q-Switch Laser emits short pulses of laser energy into the pigmented lesions to progressively shatter the pigment in the treatment area. Q-Switch works differently to other lasers where hyperpigmentation is suppressed and pushed deeper into the skin, where it fades away at the surface level. About BBL Hero
The BroadBand Light (BBL) High Energy Rapid Output (HERO) from Sciton uses light energy to quickly and gently heat the upper layers of the skin. This heat is then absorbed by the targeted areas to stimulate skin cells to regenerate. This exciting platform offers five different treatment types to address a multitude of skin concerns for the face or body.
Developed by Sciton, a world leader in high-quality aesthetic light treatments, BBL Hero is the world’s most powerful pulsed light skin treatment on the market to deliver you targeted results. BBL Hero uses light energy to quickly and gently heat the upper layers of the skin.

How does BBL Hero work?
The light energy delivered by BBL will gently heat the upper layers of your skin. Once this heat is absorbed by the targeted skin cells, the regenera
tion process begins. This process restores a natural, healthy glow and a smoother, more youthful appearance in the long-term. The BBL Hero is known to treat concerns such as sun spots, pigmentation, bruises and broken capillaries. This BBL device is the faster and safer alternative to previous devices and can treat the tone and texture of the patient’s skin.

Corrective
The photo-thermal energy delivered from the BBL gently heats the upper layers of your skin which targets pigmentation and redness to take years off the face, neck, hands or al
most any other part of the body, often after just one treatment. This treatment can be used alone or as the foundation for other light-based treatments. The light energy delivered by BBL stimulates cells to regenerate, making you look more radiant and younger. Typically you will start to see smoother, more even and vibrant skin after the first tr
eatment. Fine vessels that cause redness are eliminated, and the age and sun spots that are produced by unwanted melanin are reduced by the photothermal energy. The result? Smoother skin with less noticeable fine lines and pores, and fading of sunspots or uneven pigmentation.
BBL Corrective can be the foundation for, and used in conjunction with, all of Sciton’s other BBL treatments.
