About Intimate Lightening

Darkening of skin or pigmentation of the underarm and intimate area is a common and sometimes can affect self-confidence. There are many factors contributing to the presence of underarm pigmentation and intimate area such high dose of niacin, birth control pills, Ageing, Unbalanced hormonal conditions, Losing weight quickly, Healing after surgery or childbirth, Your genetic make-up, Wearing tight underwear or clothing that doesn’t fit properly and Lack of ventilation in the area

Underarm pigment can also be the result of external causes such as use of deodorant, shaving and frequent use of depilatory creams, excessive sweating, build-up of dead skin cells and friction from shaving or clothing.

We are able to lighten and brighten your intimate areas by 2 – 3 shades, in turn boosting your confidence. We achieve this with the use of our Q-switched laser, LaseMD, and Depigment chemical peels. It is a non-invasive technique that is safe, non-painful, and produces visible results within just a few sessions – no downtime required! These treatments adopt the principle of ‘selective photo-thermolysis’, that makes use of a particular wavelength to correct a specific skin condition.

How does Intimate Lightening work?

The procedure for this a non-invasive treatment and is comfortable and mild on the skin. It begins with The lasers that will brighten, lighten, and rejuvenate the skin that the area is passing. It is usually a painless procedure (however some people may feel discomfort), paired with a warm tingling sensation during the process. In conjunction with our depigmentation peel to remove excessive pigment on the surface you are able to achieve a light bright and tight intimate area.

Depigment Peel – This is a tyrosinase inhibitor, which works by sedating the production of excess melanin. Its corrective action works by accelerating skin cell turnover at the surface, removing melanin accumulation, and reducing the amount of melanin formed, which decreases the intensity of the pigmentation.

Its regulatory action targets the source of pigmentation by reducing melanin synthesis and blocking the transfer of melanin from the deeper layers to the skin’s surface.

LaseMD   – A non-ablative laser heats the deep layers of your skin without damaging the surface. A “fractional” laser treats a fraction of the surface of your skin, rather than all of them. This means you heal faster. LaseMD works by heating the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate the production of your body’s collagen and elastin. The controlled heat encourages your body’s natural healing response to restore the tissues and improve the appearance and texture of your skin. A little crusty will appear and remove the outlayers of pigmentation and break down internally any underlying pigment.

Qswitch – Q-Switch Laser helps fade, lighten and remove hyperpigmentation caused by hormonal changes and sun exposure. This cutting-edge lightening treatment also improves skin tone and texture by gently heating the skin. It stimulates collagen production for an anti-ageing effect and reduction in pigmentation that superficial and deep within the skin.
