ABOUT SKIN TAG REMOVAL

ABOUT

Skin tag removal refers to the process of eliminating small, benign growths of skin that typically appear on various parts of the body. These growths, known as skin tags or acrochordons, are usually harmless but can be bothersome or cosmetically undesirable for some individuals.

HOW IT WORKS?

Plasma pen technology is an advanced non-invasive cosmetic procedure used for various treatments, including skin tag removal. Plasma pen devices utilises a controlled, high-frequency electrical discharge to generate plasma, which is then directed at the skin tag or targeted area. This creates a series of tiny plasma arcs, also known as plasma sparks or plasma flashes, that are carefully applied to the surface of the skin tag. The energy from these plasma arcs vaporizes the tissue of the skin tag, essentially causing it to disintegrate or shrink. As the treated area heals, the skin tag gradually dries out and falls off naturally over time. One of the key advantages of plasma pen technology for skin tag removal is its precision. The treatment allows for targeted application, minimising damage to surrounding healthy tissue and reducing the risk of scarring or pigmentation changes.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

The number of treatments required for skin tag removal with the Plamere plasma pen can vary depending on factors such as the size, location, and number of skin tags, as well as individual skin characteristics and treatment goals. In many cases, a single treatment session may be sufficient to effectively remove one or multiple skin tags. However, larger or more numerous skin tags may require multiple treatment sessions to achieve desired results.

Skin Tag
  • Enhanced Comfort: Skin tags can be irritating, especially when they rub against clothing or jewellery. Removing them can alleviate discomfort and irritation, allowing for greater physical comfort in daily activities.

  • Improved Appearance: Skin tags, though harmless, can be cosmetically bothersome, particularly when they occur in visible areas such as the face, neck, or underarms. Removing them can enhance the appearance of the skin, promoting a smoother and more even complexion.

  • Boost in Confidence: For many individuals, the presence of skin tags can lead to self-consciousness and insecurity about their appearance. Removing skin tags can boost self-esteem and confidence, allowing individuals to feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin.

  • Prevention of Further Irritation: Skin tags are prone to snagging on clothing or jewellery, which can lead to bleeding or discomfort. Removing them eliminates the risk of further irritation or injury to the skin.

  • Easier Skincare: Skin tags can interfere with skincare routines, making it challenging to cleanse or apply products to the affected areas. Removing them can simplify skincare routines and make it easier to maintain healthy skin.

  • Reduced Risk of Infection: Skin tags can sometimes become irritated or inflamed, increasing the risk of infection. Removing them reduces the likelihood of infection and promotes overall skin health.
