ABOUT INTIMATE LIGHTENING

ABOUT

Darkening or pigmentation of the underarm and intimate areas is a common concern that can sometimes impact self-confidence. Various factors contribute to this, including high doses of niacin, birth control pills, aging, hormonal imbalances, rapid weight loss, post-surgery or childbirth healing, genetics, and wearing tight or ill-fitting clothing. Lack of ventilation in these areas can also play a role. Underarm pigmentation can also result from external factors like the use of deodorants, frequent shaving, depilatory creams, excessive sweating, dead skin cell buildup, and friction from clothing. At Adam and Eve Laser and Beauty, we offer a safe and effective solution to lighten and brighten your intimate areas by 2-3 shades, helping to boost your confidence. Our treatments utilise advanced technologies like Q-switched lasers, LaseMD, and depigmenting chemical peels. These non-invasive techniques are painless, require no downtime, and deliver visible results within just a few sessions. By employing the principle of selective photo-thermolysis, our treatments target specific skin concerns with precision, ensuring optimal results.

HOW IT WORKS?

Our intimate lightening treatment is a non-invasive, gentle procedure designed to brighten and rejuvenate the skin in sensitive areas. The process begins with advanced laser technology that targets and lightens pigmentation while revitalizing the skin. While generally painless, some clients may experience mild discomfort and a warm, tingling sensation during the treatment. Paired with our specialised depigmentation peel, this procedure helps achieve a lighter, brighter, and firmer intimate area. Depigment Peel – This peel contains a tyrosinase inhibitor, which works by reducing the production of excess melanin. It accelerates skin cell turnover, effectively removing accumulated melanin on the surface and reducing the overall amount of melanin formed. This dual action decreases pigmentation intensity, promoting a more even skin tone. LaseMD – This non-ablative laser treatment heats the deeper layers of the skin without damaging the surface. By treating only a fraction of the skin’s surface, LaseMD allows for quicker healing. The controlled heat stimulates collagen and elastin production, encouraging your body’s natural healing response. This results in improved skin texture and appearance. After treatment, a slight crust may form, which helps remove the outer layers of pigmentation and break down underlying pigment. Q-Switch Laser – The Q-Switch Laser effectively fades, lightens, and removes hyperpigmentation caused by hormonal changes and sun exposure. This advanced treatment also enhances skin tone and texture by gently heating the skin, stimulating collagen production for an anti-aging effect, and reducing both superficial and deep pigmentation.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

The number of sessions you need will depend on your desired results. To achieve optimal outcomes, it's essential to follow a comprehensive treatment plan. We typically recommend 6-8 sessions for most intimate areas to ensure that all internal and external pigmentation is effectively removed. Additionally, we'll provide you with a personalised maintenance plan and home care routine to help maintain and prolong your results.
